This is a really nice 100% baby alpaca teddy bear. He has a beautiful nose and has a very thick fur coat to stay warm. This souvenir is a great chance to get an excellent gift.
Alpacas are members of the South American camelid family that are closely related to Llamas, Guanacos and Vicuñas. The hides of the baby alpacas are utilized for make the "alpaca teddy bears". During the winter season when the cold is most intense, many alpacas die naturally in the Andes, before reaching two months of life which is the reason for a very limited production. |
