This naturally colored dark brown alpaca coat is fully lined. No two will ever be the same due to natural variations in skin and fur colors. Closes with matching fur pom-poms, secured with elastic.
All materials are conscience friendly, taken from alpaca that died of natural causes, so no animals were slaughtered. Coloration may vary.
Are Alpaca killed for their fur?
Please note that the alpaca animals are not killed for their pelt but have died a natural death. There is also an economic reason for this; alpacas, which have a lifespan of 20-25 years, are too valuable for their wool to be killed for their fur. Alpacas are also known as the 'sheep of the Andes' and are a source of livelihood for poor communities.
