Tap your inner nobility in this majestic fully-lined coat, made of naturally-colored, dark brown alpaca. No dyes are used, so fur and leather show the natural color variations, meaning no two coats are alike.
Our alpaca is conscience-friendly, made from skins and furs of alpacas that died of natural causes, so no animals were slaughtered. Coloration may vary.
Are Alpaca killed for their fur?
Please note that the alpaca animals are not killed for their pelt but have died a natural death. There is also an economic reason for this; alpacas, which have a lifespan of 20-25 years, are too valuable for their wool to be killed for their fur. Alpacas are also known as the 'sheep of the Andes' and are a source of livelihood for poor communities.
